Bean Empire privacy policy

Bean Empire is a game for iPhone made by WildCard LLC (“we”). This page explains what the game collects and why.

What we collect

The game does not ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos or location, and it has no accounts.

To find and fix problems, the game sends some technical data to Sentry, the service we use for crash and error reports:

• Crash and error reports: what went wrong in the app, the app version, the iPhone model and iOS version.
• Performance data: how smoothly the game ran (frame times), how hot the phone was, and which screen was open.
• Game progress events: steps such as finishing a goal, buying an upgrade or opening a sheet, with the time since the game was first opened and the App Store country. These tell us where new players get stuck.
• When the app hangs or crashes, a short screen recording of the moments before it, with text and pictures blanked out.

This data is not linked to you. It carries no name, email, advertising identifier or account, we have turned off storing IP addresses, and we do not use it for tracking or advertising. We do not sell or share it.

Purchases

The game offers optional in-app purchases. Apple handles all payments. We never see your payment details. We receive only a record that a purchase happened, so the game can give you what you bought.

Data on your iPhone

Your game progress and settings are saved on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes them. The optional “away notes” are local notifications created on your iPhone; nothing about them is sent to us.

How long we keep it

Sentry keeps crash, performance and progress data for up to 90 days, then deletes it.

Children

The game is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

If you live in the Philippines, the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) gives you rights over your personal data. Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you or ask us to delete it. Because the data we collect is not linked to a person, we may not be able to find records that are yours, but we will tell you what we can.
